The Be10 Is Made Of A Dupont Acrilic Specially Formulated For Clarinet Mouthpieces.
The BE10 has all the acoustical virtues of the finest hard rubber mouthpieces however,
unlike hard rubber mouthpieces the BE10 will not oxidize,warp,or deteriorate due to age
and exposure to the elements
About Tom Ridenour
Tom Ridenour, A native of Kentucky, received his master's degree in clarinet
performance From Yale University, graduating with honors. Tom taught for
more than a decade on the clarinet faculties of Wesleyan University, Hartt
College, and the University Of Connecticut while performing extensively
throughout New England and New York. In 1989 Tom joined G. Leblanc Corporation
as manager of the Woodwind Company. At Leblanc Tom Was responsible for the
acoustical design of Leblanc Professional Clarinets.
Tom has lectured and given workshops throughout North America. Over the
years, he has written numerous articles on virtually every aspect of the
clarinet. His book, Clarinet Fingerings: A Guide For The Performer And
Educator, has been considered the standard reference on the subject
for more than a decade.
Presently, Tom has his own clarinet specialty business in Denton, Texas,
where he also teaches clarinet and is clarinet specialist for Brook Mays
Music (Dallas, Texas) and H & H Music (Houston, Texas) companies. Over
the years Tom has worked closely with many of the worlds greatest clarinetists,
creating equipment for them worthy of their artistry. Tom seeks to combine
his skills as artist, acoustician, and technician to create a complete approach
to clarinetistry.
