The Triebert Family developed and established the “Modern Oboe” in the 1860’S. Guillame’s second son, Frederic, developed the System which was declared the official Oboe of The Paris Conservatory by Georges Gillet and Francois Loree. As on 18th century Oboes, the bell has an incurved inner rim. Loree Oboes are considered by many to be the best.
